Since September 2023 I am a Lecturer at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey.
From September 2019 - June 2023 I had a visiting position at the Department of Mathematics, Columbia University, New York.
During the period October 2012 - August 2019 I was working at the Mathematisches Institut, Universität Heidelberg, in Germany. I was in the research group Differential Geometry, led by Anna Wienhard.
During the year 2011/2012 I was at the Department of Mathematics, University of Fribourg, in Switzerland, in the research group of Ruth Kellerhals.
Before that I spent one year at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany.
Previously, I have been Post-Doc of CNRS at Institut de Recherche Mathématiques Avancée, Université de Strasbourg, France, for two years. There I worked mainly with Athanase Papadopoulos.
I got my PhD from Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy, under the supervision of Riccardo Benedetti. I defended my thesis on December 20, 2007. During the last year of my PhD I had a research fellowship of 9 months at the Department of Mathematics, University of Pisa.
